EMERALD COAST THEATRE COMPANY ANNOUNCES

IT IS AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THEATRE COMMUNICATIONS GROUP (TCG)

Miramar Beach, Fla. (August 8, 2018) — Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) announces it has been selected as a member of Theatre Communications Group (TCG).

Based in New York, TCG, a national organization for theater, exists to strengthen, nurture and

promote the professional not-for-profit American theatre. Its programs serve more than 700 member organizations and more than 12,000 individuals nationwide. As the U.S. Center of the International Theatre Institute, TCG connects its constituents to the global theatre community. In all of its endeavors, TCG seeks to increase the organizational efficiency of its member theatres, cultivate and celebrate the artistic talent and achievements of the field and promote a larger public understanding of, and appreciation for, the theatre.

As a member, ECTC has access to the TCG website, including ArtSearch, the TCG Circle, the Executive Director’s Weekly Briefing, as well as members-only surveys and survey results and more.

“Becoming a member of TCG is a symbolic milestone for Emerald Coast Theatre Company,” said ECTC producing artistic director Nathanael Fisher. “This really puts on the nation’s collective ‘map’ of professional theater organizations.”

ECTC is a non-profit professional theater company founded by Anna and Nathanael Fisher, MFA, in 2012 with a mission to enrich and entertain the Emerald Coast community through professional and educational theater. After six years, ECTC has clearly established itself as a professional theater company focused on staging thought-provoking productions, festivals and creative collaborations as well as a valued community resource for professional acting, educational theatre for children, and theatre for young audiences.

Emerald Coast Theatre Company is a 501(c)(3) founded in 2012 by Nathanael Fisher, MFA, and his wife, Anna Fisher.
