Emerald Coast Theatre Company Adds a Show to Accommodate Sold Out Run of "Almost, Maine."

EMERALD COAST THEATRE COMPANY ADDS A SHOW TO ACCOMMODATE SOLD OUT RUN OF “ALMOST, MAINE.”

Overwhelming response to this romantic comedy proves that Emerald Coasters

are in the mood for love.

Miramar Beach, Fla. (Feb. 16, 2016) — Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC), a not-for profit professional theater company, has sold out almost every “Almost, Maine” performance it has offered so far. With five out of six remaining shows set to have packed houses as well, ECTC decided to add an additional performance.

To accommodate the demand for this popular romantic comedy, an extra show has been added on Saturday, February 27th at 2 p.m. Tickets are also still available for the 2 p.m. show on Sunday, February 28th.

“We are thrilled to have the need to add another performance,” said Nathanael Fisher, ECTC’s Producing Artistic Director. “It shows that the Emerald Coast is in the mood for a romantic comedy.”

Performances are being held at The Market Shops in Sandestin, located at 9375 Emerald Coast Parkway on the corner of Sandestin Boulevard, at the entrance to the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. ECTC rates the play PG-13 for containing adult themes. Ticket prices are $23 per adult, $18 for seniors and $15 for students.

Come out early and enjoy the pre-show pop-up art gallery on display at The Market Shops at Sandestin. This “Love” themed gallery includes works of art submitted by 21 local artists. The collection will include mixed media, photography, illustration, acrylic, watercolor and glass works on display and for sale before each performance, with extended gallery hours on Saturdays, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

The gallery is open to the public and proceeds from art sales support local visual artists and contribute to ECTC’s mission to enrich and entertain the Emerald Coast community through professional and educational theatre.
