Emerald Coast Theatre Company is a non-profit theater company based in Miramar Beach, Florida. Founded in 2012 by Nathanael Fisher, M.F.A., and his wife, Anna Fisher, M.A.
ECTC’s mission is to enrich and entertain the Emerald Coast community through professional and educational theatre; it operates year-round with a two-fold mission to provide both educational and professional offerings to the Northwest Florida community.

Educational programming increases enrolment with Disney’s The Jungle Book productions at Destin Elementary School, Destin Community Center, and NorthWest Florida State College’s South Walton Campus.
2014

Rehearsals for Fractured Fairytales begins at Destin Elementary in partnership with the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation. 15 students participate with a final performance for friends and family in May.

ECTC begins Saturday classes for local students. 15 students enjoy the Musical Theater Workshop and 10 of those same students take the acting class as well. The Musical Theater Workshop students perform at On the Coast Magazine’s Spring Fest at HarborWalk Village.

ECTC partners with Sacred Heart Hospital’s Arts in Medicine program to produce Resurrecting van Gogh as a benefit for the Arts in Medicine program.

ECTC launches another summer of theater camps. Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids offered at Butler Elementary, Camp Broadway at Seaside Neighborhood School, The Wizard of Oz in partnership with the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation at Destin Elementary, and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Jr. at Ruckel Middle School. Over 75 children participated in the camps

After school programming continues at Destin Elementary and launches at Butler Elementary with a production of Alice in Wonderland. A Saturday production of Yes Virginia the Musical is offered for fourth grade through high school students at the Destin Community Center.

ECTC's professional improvisation troupe performs for the Sacred Heart of the Emerald Coast Foundation's Emerald Coast Duck Regatta and for Grand Boulevard's Halloween on the BOOlevard events.

Launch of professional company with A Dickens Christmas. Performances at HarborWalk Village and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort with an 86% capacity with some sold out performances.

ECTC partners with the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation to provide after school theater education at Destin Elementary School. This 10 week program introduced theater to 11 elementary aged children.

Pirate Pete and the Case of the Missing Fisherman, a Theater for Young Audiences interactive play, launches at HarborWalk Village for a 15 week run, playing to over 2,250 locals and tourist.

The Adventures of Andy the Angler and Captain Clyde, a Theater for Young Audiences interactive play, launches at The Village of Baytowne Wharf for a 10 week run, playing to over 1,000 locals and tourist.

The Tall Tales of the Emerald Coast, an improvisation storytelling show, launches at HarborWalk Village for an 8 week run.

The Art of Improv, an adult improvisational acting class was presented for 4 weeks in Panama City.

Seaside Neighborhood School hosted ECTC’s Camp Glee – a one week, half day musical theater camp for junior high aged children. 11 students participated

The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation sponsors ECTC’s Camp Aladdin at Destin Elementary School. 40 elementary through high school students participated.

ECTC partners with Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast’s Arts in Medicine Program to provide improvisation entertainment at their fundraising event and taught a 6 week improvisation class open to staff, volunteers, and the community.

ECTC continues the partnership with the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation to provide after school theater arts education at Destin Elementary School

ECTC launches its first educational theater touring production The Pirate Who Learns to Say Please. The interactive children’s theater show teaches children in first through third grade the importance of manners. This show was performed at Youth Village, Butler Elementary, the Emerald Coast Autism Center, and ArtsQuest.
