A theatrical educational experience specifically designed for the children of our community!

 

Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) entails adult actors performing in plays designed to entertain or educate children.

Emerald Coast Theatre presents Romeo and Juliet like you’ve never seen it before! This interactive version of classic theatre is adapted by Gillette Elvgren and full of play and fun to entertain the whole family.


Come watch at the Grand Park as we re-imagine these star crossed lovers meeting in the fabulous Art Deco era of the 1920’s.  Will they finally find happiness? Join us under the stars to find out!

Enjoy this theatrical experience at Watersound Origins that’s fun for all ages! Join Emerald Coast Theatre Company's cast as they present this interactive version of Snow White while playing the parts of the Queen, the Huntsman, the Prince, Snow White, and more. Children can participate by being birds, trees in the forest, and of course, the dwarves! Don’t miss this fun and energetic fairy tale that will have you whistling while you work!

A Midsummer Night’s Dream ala Commedia adaptation by Gillette Elvgren

 

 

Part of the Coastal Culture series Sponsored by Grand Boulevard, Sandestin. Guests enjoyed a beautiful summer evening at the Grand Park as families were entertained by anadaptation of Shakespeare’s famous play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”  Styled afterItaly’s commedia dell’arte, four actors portray the lovers, the royals, the fairies, and themechanicals.  All four actors changed characters as needed to engage the audience inthis forty five minute adaptation of the classic tale.

Pirate Pete and the Case of the Missing Fisherman

Come aboard the "Emerald Grande" as Pirate Pete, Gayle the Galley Wench, and the first mate Phineas search the area for Fisherman Fred.  You might get chosen to be part of the crew as you enjoy this interactive journey at HarborWalk Village.

The Adventures of Andy the Angler and Captain Clyde

Andy and Clyde have been long time partners until their friendship is tested with the competition for the title of "The Best Fisherman of the Emerald Coast!"  They recruit their crew from the audience and challenge each other at different spots around the Village of Baytowne Wharf.
