Auditions for "Almost, Maine"

Emerald Coast Theatre Company, a not-for-profit professional theater company based in Miramar Beach, is holding auditions for its production of "Almost, Maine."

All positions are paid. Auditions will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30p.m. at the Bayou Arts Center / Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County

Callbacks (if needed) will be scheduled at a later date.

Rehearsals Jan 11 through Feb 4, performances Feb 5,6,12-14, 19, 20) Rehearsals and performances at The Market Shops (right out side Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort).

Synopsis: One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

2 women, 2 men late 20’s to mid 40’s

Auditioners should bring a headshot and resume. Cold readings from the script will be done and auditioners may be asked to do a contemporary comedic monologue and/or improvisation exersizes.
