Art by Yasmina Reza, March 6-8, 13-15, 2015, The Market Shops of Sandestin, Suite 15. This comedy raises questions about art and friendship through the differing lenses of three long-time friends, Serge, Marc, and Yvan. Serge, indulging his penchant for modern art, buys a large, expensive, completely white painting. Marc is horrified, and their relationship suffers considerable strain as a result of their differing opinions about what constitutes “art.” Yvan is caught in the middle of the conflict and tries to please and mollify both of them. Recommended for an adult audience because of language. 6:30pm Local Art Showing, 7:30pm Performance.
ART Cast

Allen Walker
Allen is thrilled to be returning to the ECTC stage as Marc. He is a local actor from Panama City who teaches Latin at Arnold High School during the day. He was last seen as Scrooge in ECTC's A Dickens Christmas. Other favorite roles include Furtwangler in Taking Sides, Pericles in Pericles, and Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Allen is also a company actor with the Seaside Repertory Theatre, where he will soon be seen as Arlequin in Com'media Robin Hood. He would like to thank Nathanael for giving him this wonderful opportunity, and for the chance to perform with his longtime friend and mentor Jason Hedden. He would also like to thank God, the rest of the cast and crew, and his wonderful new wife Charis for her love and support. Enjoy the show!

Jason Hedden
Jason Hedden (Yvan) is an actor, director and teacher based in Panama City Beach, FL. He is currently an associate professor of theatre at Gulf Coast State College (GCSC) where he is directing the world premiere of Miracle of the White Leaves: The Musical through a partnership between GCSC and Bay Arts Alliance. Jason holds an MFA in acting and devised theatre from The Ohio State University and undergraduate theatre degrees from The University of South Florida and GCSC. Favorite professional credits include roles with Seattle Shakespeare Company and Book-It Repertory Theatre. Jason was last seen on stage in his original solo show, Resurrecting van Gogh, produced by ECTC to benefit the arts in medicine program at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. He proudly serves as a founding board member of ECTC. Love to Becky and Cameron.

Don Goodrum
An actor, director and playwright with over forty years experience, Don Goodrum got his first taste of the spotlight as The King of the Calendar in his second grade play. Don next managed to turn a Best Actor win in a high school One Act Play Festival into a theatre scholarship to Mississippi College. Since moving to Florida in 1999, Don has played roles as challenging and diverse as Henry II in The Lion in Winter, Max Bialystock in The Producers Ebenezar Scrooge in A Christmas Carol and the Devil himself in The Devil and Daniel Webster. As a playwright, he has written over twenty plays and seen five of them published and many of them produced. In his free time, Don runs the drama program at South Walton High School. He has three beautiful daughters and two beautiful granddaughters who argue constantly about which of them loves him best.
