Experience a unique adaptation of Charles Dickens’ famous story A Christmas Carol in this up close and intimate setting. Three talented professional actors seamlessly change from character to character as they bring to life the tale of Scrooge and his transformational night with three ghosts. Make this special evening a new holiday tradition as you share cookies and tea with your family and friends in a cozy, festive atmosphere.  December 11 - 28, 2014 at HarboWalk Village and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

Brittany McLaughlin

Brittany is excited to be making her debut with ECTC. She is a Florida native and has her degree from the University of South Florida in theatre performance. You may have seen her in other local performances with Gulf Coast State College, such as A Midsummer Night's Dream and Carousel, as well as with Summerstock Productions in Urinetown. She wishes to thank God, her family, and friends for their continued support and love, in all she does.

Denis Milonas

Denis is a 29 year veteran of the stage having performed in more than 40 theatrical productions along the Emerald Coast.  His favorite roles to date have been Will in Will Roger’s Follies, Thenardier in Les Miserables, Sancho in Man of La Mancha, Curly in Oklahoma (Mattie Kelly Arts Center productions) and 7 different roles in Neil Simon’s Musical Little Me, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, John Utterson in Jekyll and Hyde, and Burl Sanders in Smoke on the Mountain and Sander’s Family Christmas (Stage Crafters productions) . He is an award winning director and actor.  His most memorable Directing gig was the Stage Crafter production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2010 Best Show). Denis has performed both in Community Theater, Dinner Theater and many productions at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center (since it’s opening in 1997). Denis has acted in most every type of genre from Shakespeare to the musical comedy, Redneck Riviera, which he also helped produce and direct as a professional Acting Company in 2013. He is a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where he sings in the choir and is part of the local musical performing duo “Autumn Poultry”. He has been blessed with choosing his best friend to be his wife over 43 years ago. Kay and Denis have two sons and three grandchildren. He is a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School, OWCC and the University of West Florida.  He is delighted to be working with ECTC and is thankful to the organization for giving him the opportunity to work with such a talented team of Actors and production staff.  Denis is a Broker Associate with Keller Williams Realty Emerald Coast in Destin listing and selling residential and commercial properties in Okaloosa, Walton and Santa Rosa County. Enjoy the show, we sure will!

Darla Briganti

Originally from Orlando, Florida, she attended the University of Florida on a full acting scholarship and received a BFA in 1982. Her career in the entertainment industry spans 30 years where she has worked as an actor, singer, dancer, director, choreographer, and acting coach throughout the southeast.  Her most treasured roles to date include the title roles in The Unsinkable Molly Brown and Mame, and most recently Mama Rose in NWFSC production of Gypsy. After a successful career in the Orlando market Darla moved to the Emerald Coast with her husband and  9 year-old son and now enjoys spending time with her 6 year old grandson. In addition to teaching for ECTC's educational theatre programs, Darla enjoys sharing her passion for acting with students of all ages at her acting school, A Class Act Studio in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Many of her current and past students are successfully pursuing their careers in larger markets including Atlanta, New Orleans, New York, and Los Angeles.  She is affectionately known as "Miss" Darla by all of her students. She feels blessed to be a part of the ECTC family and looks forward to future endeavors. As Tiny Tim said, "God Bless Us, everyone!"

2015 A Dickens Christmas Cast

Allen Walker

Allen Walker is a local actor and high school Latin teacher from Panama City.  He is thrilled to be able to be a part of this production and the opportunity to work with ECTC.  Most recently, he was seen in Pericles, Taking Sides, and the staged reading of Michael Lister's The Big Hello in Panama City.  He also does voice over work as well as audiobooks.  He would like to thank ECTC for the opportunity as well as his friends and fiancee for their love and support.  Bah Humbug!

 

Laura Holloway

Laura Holloway makes her home in Blue Mountain Beach, finally returning to the South after spending the past ten years in California, Arizona and Texas.  Originally from Cookeville, Tennessee, she is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles in Theatre and the University of South Alabama in Journalism.  Onstage and in front of the camera since the age of three, favorite past roles include Lane in The Clean House, Becca in Rabbit Hole, Rhonda Louise in Women of Manhattan, Marjorie in Extremities, and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. An award-winning public speaker and actress, she loves a good story, which sparked the foundation of The Storyteller Agency, a creative marketing boutique that focuses on the power of good storytelling.  When she's not onstage or at her desk, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four dogs (yes, four), riding her Vespa up and down 30A, pretending to know how to do yoga, and occupying her beach chair as much as possible.

Darla enjoys sharing her passion for acting with students of all ages at her acting school, A Class Act Studio. Many of her current and past students are successfully pursuing their careers in larger markets including Atlanta, New Orleans, New York, and Los Angeles.
